THE OVERVIEW
Full Mouth Rehabilitation replaces the complete mouth, including teeth and bone in the upper and lower jaws. This technique addresses both large-scale functional concerns and cosmetic insecurities. Everyone is eligible for this surgery, as we only treat the most severe cases, such as grafting bone loss areas and removing prior dental implants.
THE METHOD
We use the All-on-X approach to support two full-length prosthetic arches, which require each patient to obtain an appropriate number of dental implants. We can determine the number of dental implants required based on precise imaging and measurements, ensuring that each arch is securely secured to the jawbone. A secure bone-implant relationship is essential for a mouth’s optimal load distribution and natural appearance. If unsalvageable teeth remain, we will extract them to prepare the mouth for artificial replacement roots. If the jawbone appears deteriorated, we use faux bone matter manufactured partially from the patient’s tissue. Both of these steps are conducted to guarantee the most stable and long-lasting foundation for the future grin.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
By treating functional difficulties early on, we can prevent long-term jaw and neck discomfort, as well as recurrent headaches. Restoring the mouth’s biomechanical equilibrium also improves eating and speaking by reducing daily discomfort. Cosmetically, we employ a biomimetic approach, which means that all failed teeth are replaced with materials that produce the most natural, age-reinforcing appearance.
